The greatest Super Group of all time?

U-Mag’s Matt Fellows puts together the ultimate rock band…but do you agree with his choices?

Drums: it has to be the one and the only Keith Moon once of the ‘Who’. Sadly no longer with us, but his reputation for being one the original ‘wild men’ of Rock will never be forgotten. A true Rock legend, from flushing dynamite down hotel toilets, too his death from a drug overdose.

Guitars: well need I carry on, the ‘one and the only’ Jimi Hendrix. It’s as simple as that for lead guitar. Rhythm guitar was a little harder with many possibilities. However, I decided that Eric Clapton was the only man to fill this position. Anyone who can compose the lead rift of ‘Layla’ deserves to be in this band.

Bass: there are not as many World famous bass guitarists so this decision was easier, for this I chose a member of Rock Royalty, Sir Paul McCartney. Anyone who can say they were part of the Beatles deserves huge respect and to him, we bow.

Vocals: to be in this band we need a front man, with presence, a great voice and sex appeal. Attributes that he has in abundance. He holds the record for the most UK number 1’s ever, the ‘king of Rock and Roll’, Mr Elvis Presley.
