Adobe Photoshop seminar success

Mediacove hosted a Photoshop seminar on the 21st March that attracted over 50 creative students, teaching staff, photographers and media employers alike.

The day consisted of 2 sessions of seminars where Adobe’s Senior Business Development Manager, Michael O’Neil (a celebrity in the field of Photoshop design) gave his eager audience a showcase of amazing design tricks that would make any designer’s toes curl with intrigue.

Michael O’Neil took the audience through the stages of how to make convert an old scanned photo into a picture that appears to be as good as new.

He also showed how to inject colour into a negative of a photo that was under exposed; how to remove and move items seamlessly as well as being able to use the Photoshop functions efficiently.

An event that marked the start of more seminars that Skillset hope will provide a much more interactive Photoshop workshop.

A big thanks to…

BCPL and Aim Higher for providing the funding to aid the event, Skillset for providing the guest speaker Michael O’Neil. And all the college staff that helped make the event as smooth as possible
