Wolverhampton Campus Radio on 105.2 FM in September 2003 !

During September, WCR will be broadcasting on 105.2 FM in Wolverhampton for 28 days at the start of the new academic year, 2003/04, form the 1st to 28th September.

Currently the station broadcasts on 1350 medium wave ‘to the Paget Road Campus of the City of Wolverhampton College’. In addition, it is heard on the web at www.wcr1350.co.uk

Our Music
Aimed at the student audience, our programming is different to existing local radio stations, the day-time music policy is an eclectic mix of new and alternative tracks with the occasional pop classic thrown in for good measure. Evenings and weekends are given over to specialists of all kinds from R&B, Jazz, Soul & Motown, Rock, Folk & Acoustic, Reggae and more!

We have secured permission to broadcast from the top of the Rock Hotel in Tettenhall – this should ensure very good coverage of the whole of Wolverhampton. There’s plenty of opportunity to get anything mentioned on-air whether it be a message to new students, or a name check to someone.

This FM broadcast is being sponsored by Mediacove, City of Wolverhampton College and Jobszone.
