Students in the spotlight

It was hats off to performing arts students who put their talents in the spotlight at the City of Wolverhampton College.

They invited 15 and 16-year-olds from schools all over the city to view drama, song and dance which they have produced as part of their coursework.

Tutor Nigel Brown said: "The idea was to give a flavour of the course to Year 11 students who are considering performing arts as one of their options for next September."

The showcase event, entitled Unplugged, was held over two nights at the Newhampton Centre in Dunkley Street.
