Wolverhampton and Sandwell Media CoVE

Experts from the world of print, film, photographic, broadcast, music and web-based media took part in the forum at Wolverhampton's Lighthouse Media Centre.

Broadcaster and trainer Lawrie Bloomfield MBE, who established BBC Radio Shropshire, chaired the event which included presentations from two city video production companies and a multimedia firm.

The CoVE, based at the City of Wolverhampton College and Sandwell College, provides specialist vocational media training.

Pete Whitehouse, Media CoVE co-ordinator, said "The forum gave media professionals a chance to see, hear and comment on what we're up to and what our students have to offer employers."
