| CREATIVE BUSINESS NETWORKING EVENING AT SOUTH STAFFORDSHIRE COUNCIL OFFICES
This informal evening is the first under the new banner of “Creative Business”, bringing creative people together across this rural district. There will be a chance to network with other arts professionals and to find out about local opportunities. It's relevant to artists, craftspeople, musicians, actors, designers, storytellers and many more. If you are working professionally in the arts or would like to find out more about support and advice available to those pursuing a freelance career, please come along and find out more. Following on from evaluation of previous evenings, the format of the forthcoming evening will be different from previous events. There will be presentations from South Staffordshire Tourism Association and locally based maker, Paul Gooderham from Gailey Pottery, and with a free buffet, there will be a large emphasis on the time for networking and informal discussion. Councillor Robbie Marshall, Deputy Leader (Community Services) said, “The Creative Business Network evening is vital for improved communication in the creative industries community of South Staffordshire . It provides a useful opportunity to network, exchange ideas, and simply talk to someone who understands! The more who attend, the greater the benefit for everyone.” To reserve a place contact Richard Heighway in Leisure Services on 01902 696532 or email r.heighway@sstaffs.gov.uk |
