Larger than life comic Phill Jupitus took to the airwaves in Wolverhampton when he presented his hit national breakfast radio show from the city.

The presenter got behind the decks of Wolverhampton Community Radio (WCR) just hours after he and fellow comic Adrian Edmondson wowed the crowds with alternative jazz rock band, The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band at the Civic Hall.

Drivetime presenter Julie Wall said: “It’s such an important thing to be able to hear from people in the industry. Phill was really friendly and many of us were involved in the show and even got on air.”
