City of Wolverhampton College has been engaging the local media in order to maintain and establish links between media students and employers in the field.

The Mediacove Employers’ Forum took place at the college’s Conference Centre on Tuesday 28 November and built on the success of previous events.

Over the past four years the two-way Forum has brought a touch of the ‘real world’ experience and perspective to students who in turn get the opportunity to showcase their talents to the ‘outside world'.

Mediacove Co-ordinator Pete Whitehouse said: “It was an enjoyable, interesting and useful evening. The Forum demonstrates our commitment to helping our students succeed not only in their courses but also in the world of work.”

The evening commenced with a networking session followed by a showcase of Mediacove Productions and was well attended by students and media professionals.
