TV news star to visit college  

Students will have the chance to put their questions to a BBC news star when she visits the college this December.

Satnam Rana from Midlands Today and Radio WM will be hosting two special talks on December 5th.

She’ll offer a fascinating insight into her career at the BBC and how she went from working at our very own WCR to reading the news on the regions premier news programme.

The first session begins at 9.30am in the Paget Road large conference room with a seminar and workshop. This will be followed by a mock press conference for journalism students at 10.30.

Born and bred in Wolverhampton, Satnam hopes to demonstrate to students that “having a dream and fulfilling it is possible”.
